Welcome to the TJEd for Teens website!
This blogspot is available for youth and their parents and mentors to contribute content. Creative writing, fiction and poetry, book reviews, philosophical and scholarly essays–all are welcome. Please send your submissions for consideration to submissions[at]tjedforteens[dot]com.
Keep in mind the following things:
- This will of course be viewable all across the globe, so the ideal submissions will be conscientious about the fact that interested readers come from many countries, religions, political philosophies, etc. Try to be as inclusive as possible, with language, stories and examples that a variety of people can relate to without having to “translate” or “forgive” you for being narrow-minded or unaware of these differences.
- Have a good proof-reader help you to get it in good shape: spelling, punctuation, grammar, etc.
- This is a site for youth! You don’t have to be an adult or have an adult-level education, understanding, or communication style to make your entry worthy to be read by others! Be confident to share who you are today, knowing that you’re a work in progress and your effort will inspire others to do the same.
